Vaishno College of Engineering leads in 5th semster results

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has declared the result of B.Tech 5th semester. Vaishno College of Engineering emerges as one of the leading colleges among all other engineering colleges affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) as far as the result of 5th semester is concerned.

Overall result of Vaishno College of Engineering is 80 percent, out of  which 40% of students of Vaishno College of Engineering have scored distinction, 20% students have scored 60 percentage and above. Chamba Dolkar (EE department) from distt. ladakh (J&K) stood 4th, Kanika Mahajan (CSE deptt.) from distt. Nurpur, kangra (H.P) stood 6th, Sunil Kumar (ME Deptt.) from distt. Hamirpur (H.P) stood 13th, Ashish Gularia (Civil Engg. Deptt.) from distt. Kangra(H.P) stood 30th and Heena (ECE Deptt.) from distt. Kathua (J&K) stood 43rd in their respective branches at the university level. In VGC, the emphasis is on overall development of the students. Technical education, clubbed with industrial interaction and training in communication skills, leadership skills and soft skills is imparted to the students. As a result of this, more than 50% students have already been placed in various MNCs in their 3rd year itself. Directors of Vaishno group of colleges, Mr. Varun Gupta and Mr. Rahul Pathania were very pleased with the result and they congratulated the students for their excellent performance. They also wished luck to the students for their future results. Finally, principal Vaishno College of engineering Lt. Col. A.K Khajuria congratulated and appreciated the student’s efforts and thanked faculty members for their support to the students.
